What is mastering?

Mastering is the final piece of the production workflow. It is meant to balance sonic elements and enhance playback across all systems, platforms and media formats.

It can also create an aural consistency between songs that are intended to be part of an EP or album. Often this is the step that creates that 'polished' radio-ready sound.

What we do

Rates

Base Rates : 

  • $45 per song (1-3)

  • $40 per song (4-6)

  • $35 per song (7+)

 

Rush :

  • 24hr: $15 extra per song

  • 48hr: $10 extra per song

  • 72hr: $5 extra per song

​

Master Reference CD:

  • $10

For normal mastering services we have a 5-7 day turnaround for first passes to be sent back for review. 

Express turnaround (1, 2 and 3 days) is available when requested during transfer.
